Very similarly to the above (CBTF), there is an up to 1% on the transaction amount for transactions performed to merchants located outside of Thailand (with a foreign acquiring bank), and the payment is made in a foreign currency (i.e. USD, JPY, KRW, etc..)
For a BigPay Visa Cardholder:
Search for the Visa Exchange Rate Calculator on your web browser and input 1% on the Bank Fee box. After inputting the currency accordingly, you shall obtain the exchange rate for your reference.
More importantly, when you initiate a transfer on our app, we will use the exchange rate that is in effect at that time. However, the final exchange rate that is applied to the transfer may be different, as exchange rates are constantly fluctuating.

Network charges are part of the card network's foreign transaction fee, Visa. Regardless of the card type, this fee is applied to all non-THB transactions.
Which currency should I choose while paying using my BigPay card?
If you are given the option, always choose the local currency in your travel area to enjoy the best exchange rate!
For example, if you are traveling to Malaysia, always pay and choose the settlement in Malaysian Ringgits.
How about my online transactions? The same rule applies! If you are purchasing a ticket on a Singapore website, always pay in Singaporean Dollars. This is to ensure that you'll be taking advantage of the best interest rate possible for that payment! ๐
