In-app authentication is a feature designed to improve the efficiency of authorizing changes and in-app transactions within your BigPay account and reduce the dependency on OTP SMS.
How do I set up in-app authentication on my device?
In-app authentication is automatically enabled when you log in to the BigPay app on your preferred device. This provides a secure way to authorize transactions, ensuring that only one device can approve transactions at a time.
You could approve the following features or services of your BigPay app via in-app authentication:
1. In-app Physical Card Issuance
2. In-app Physical Card Replacement
3. Changes of Daily Limits or Account Details
How do I perform the in-app Authentication for the services mentioned above?
No worries and it's simple! After the step of entering your Passcode or Biometrics such as Face ID and Fingerprint, you will see a screen asking you to perform in-app authentication as shown below!
How many devices could I use to approve the in-app transaction and changes?
You can use only one authorized device that is registered to your BigPay account to authorize the in-app transactions and any account detail changes.
Could I use this in-app authentication on my login or online transactions via my BigPay card?
Unfortunately, we do not provide in-app authentication for login or online transactions via the BigPay card.
Both login and online transactions via the BigPay card would require the input of a 6-digit OTP.
Help! I can't complete the authentication!
If you encounter issues while authorizing a transaction, try logging in again to re-establish the connection with the in-app authentication feature.
If the problem persists, reach out to our support team through the live chat in the BigPay app for assistance.
Can I customize my in-app authentication limited to specific features?
Currently, we do not offer the option to customize your in-app authentication settings. We appreciate your concern, and please know that we are continually working to ensure the safety of your funds and account!
I don't like this authorization method. Can I use SMS OTP to authorize transactions instead?
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. BigPay is committed to enhancing our systems and features to ensure the utmost security for everyone's BigPay accounts. Hence, the option to use SMS OTP may not be available at this moment as we continue to develop and improve our systems to best enhance your experience and account security
