What is Round-Up? 📈

Hello everyone! Today, we're going to talk about an awesome feature that will help you save money easily with Round-Up. This feature will turn your spending into automatic savings. Let’s see how it works!

What is Round-Up?

Round-Up is a feature that allows you to round up your spending to the nearest "Baht" (THB). The rounded-up amount will be saved in your Stash, helping you save money effortlessly without even realizing it.

 

How does Round-Up work?

The Round-Up works seamlessly. You can set your Round-Up to 1, 2, 3 or 5 THB for Stash - Save to Travel and 5, 10, 15 or 20 for creating your own Stash and that amount will be rounded up to your Stash after spending.

First example:

• You have a balance of 500 THB in your main wallet and 2 Stash wallets named Save to Travel and Investment.
• You go to your Stash - Save to Travel wallet page and set a Round-Up of 5 THB.
• When you pay for goods or services with a Physical Card or Virtual Card for 300 THB, you will have a remaining balance of 195 THB in your main wallet because the 5 THB in this spending has been automatically rounded up to your Stash - Save to Travel wallet.

Second example:

• You have a balance of 500 THB in your main wallet and Stash wallets named Investment.
• You go to your Stash - Investment wallet page and set a Round-Up of 10 THB.
• When you pay for goods or services with a Physical Card or Virtual Card for 422 THB, you will have a remaining balance of 65 THB in your main wallet because the 13 THB in this spending has been automatically rounded up to your Stash - Investment.

Why the savings amount is rounded to 13 baht when you set it to 10 THB?

This happens because the Round-Up feature rounds up the total amount. For instance, if you spend 300 THB and set a Round-Up of 10 THB, 10 THB will be saved in your Stash. However, in the second example, when the spending amount is not an integer, the feature rounds up to the nearest whole number, and the corresponding amount is deducted and saved into your Stash-Investment wallet.

Why use Round-Up?

• Easy and Convenient: You don’t have to worry about saving money anymore. Just use your BigPay card, and the system will handle everything for you.
• Save Money Without Realizing It: This rounding feature helps you save continuously without feeling like you’re spending more money.
• Increase Your Savings Potential: When you combine the rounded-up amounts in your Stash, you’ll be amazed at how much you can save!

 

How to Activate Round-Up

1. Once you've opened your Stash wallet, you will see this page.

2. Go to "Round-up Payments" and activate it by tapping the gray button on the right.

3. Choose the amount you want to round up.

4. And that’s it! All your transactions will automatically start adding to your savings right away! 🎊

However, you can only enable Round-Up in one Stash wallet. If you want to change Round-Up to a new Stash wallet, you can enable Round-Up in the new wallet and the old Stash wallet will automatically have Round-Up disabled as shown in the picture below.

When creating your own Stash, you can choose Round-Up amounts of 5, 10, 15, or 20 THB. This differs from the Stash - Save to Travel, which offers Round-Up amounts of 1, 2, 3, or 5 THB.
