How to Troubleshoot Login SMS (OTP) Issues? 📲

BigPay's Login SMS (OTP) is an SMS message with a link to use to log in to the BigPay app. The link will be sent to your SMS with a sender name: BigPay. The system will take you to the main BigPay app page simply by clicking on the link. 

 

If you do not receive a Login SMS, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Ensure that you're using the same number that you used to register for a BigPay account
  2. Turn on airplane mode and turn it off
  3. Remove the SIM card from the device, wipe it clean, and put it back in
  4. If you are using mobile data, you can connect your mobile to a Wi-Fi network and request an SMS again
  5. If you are using a Wi-Fi network, use mobile data instead and request an SMS again

 

If you are still having problems receiving an SMS, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Restart your device
  2. Delete the BigPay app from your device
  3. download the BigPay app from Google PlayStore or Apple App Store to reinstall

 

SMS Login Link is not Redirecting Me to the App

If you're experiencing issues with the SMS login link not opening the BigPay app, it might be due to the app being newly installed for the first time or an unstable network connection.

 

Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

1. Refresh the link in your browser: Swipe down on the browser screen to refresh the SMS link.

2. Tap "Open": After refreshing, you should see an "Open" button at the top of the browser screen. Tap it to launch the BigPay app.

 

If you've followed these steps and still can't log in, try restarting your phone and make sure the BigPay app is up to date. You can check for updates on Google Play Store or Apple App Store. If an "Update" button is available, tap it to install the latest version.

 

If the issue persists, we recommend this final step: copy the link from the SMS and paste it directly into your browser. Then, tap the "Open" button at the top of the screen to access the app as usual.

 

Note: BigPay application that isn't downloaded from the aforementioned platforms will not be able to be used
